🧠How does our brain remember childhood experiences?🧠
The booth offers activities for all age groups (e.g., coloring brains, making your own paper hat in the shape of a brain). You can try your hand at a quiz on the brain and mental health and discover and observe the brain as it is examined using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Learn how positive and negative childhood experiences are related to various aspects of mental and biological health through our research project. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the brain interactively through MRI neuroimaging and 3D models. MRI provides a non-invasive and detailed insight into the anatomy, activations, and structural and functional connections of the brain that can be linked to emotions and mental health.

🧬How does stress affect my body’s energy levels? Insights from mitochondrial research.🧬
Many people find the challenges of everyday life (school, education, work, family) stressful. Stress can cause various changes in the body, including a feeling of “low energy.” To understand how these changes occur, we’ll take a look at mitochondria, the “powerhouses” of our cells.
